Telford Swaps – 2016

As a fairly new Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, this was my first visit to Telford for some team bonding and product training. Traditionally, demonstrators make ‘swaps’ to take and give to one another in the hope of sharing and inspiring some creativity. So here are the swaps I made. I used ‘Picture Perfect’ and chose the starfish image as I feel it’s a bit overlooked against the hummingbird image in this stunning stamp set. This is a two step photopolymer stamp and I had great fun playing with different tones of colour to give my starfish some dimension. I then used ‘timeless textures’ and ‘awesomely artistic’ to create lots of background interest and texture. Finally I finished my card front off with some heat embossing for a touch of elegance with the ‘splat’image from ‘perpetual birthday calendar’, an itty bitty heart punched from dazzling diamonds glimmer paper and some metallic bakers twine.
