Picture Perfect Hummingbird

Morning everyone! So in a previous blog I showcased the gorgeous starfish stamp from this ‘picture perfect’ stamp set. Today I want to focus on the stunning hummingbird image. This is a four step photopolymer stamp and the detail you can achieve on the bird is just amazing! I stamped my bird image in pear pizzazz, garden green, pumpkin pie on & island indigo. The card stock was crumb cake layered beneath cajun craze and whisper white. I stamped my roses in pumpkin pie and Cajun craze and created the background texture from ‘timeless textures’ in crumb cake  with a few cajun craze accents here and there! The grid pattern behind the bird was stamped in soft sky for contrast, and I finished my card off with some metallic silver thread and a few rhinestones. I popped my bird and a couple of roses up on dimensionals to create some depth and finished by silver embossing my sentiment from the hostess set ‘Happy Birthday Everyone’. I’ve played with this stamp set a lot but never used these colours before. Whilst completely unexpected, I think the colours are very rich and striking. The possibilities are endless with this beautiful hummingbird – looking forward to creating some different looks with this beautiful stamp set ❤️❤️❤️
