Seaside Shore is the most adorable stamp set! My husband had been encouraging me to buy this set for ages, as we are both divers and just love watching underwater sea life so I finally gave in! This was my first play with the set, and though simple, I still thought this card turned out cute 😍
The Swirly Scribbles Thinlets Dies are so versatile, I’ve seen them being used to create so many different projects, but for this card I thought they made the perfect ‘sea’ for my fishes. I ran the die through my big shot twice over some pacific point cardstock, to create two layers of waves, and adhered them both to the bottom of my whisper white card front. I then stamped my fish from Seaside Shore on scrap cardstock in memento black ink, and coloured them in using my Stampin’ Write Markers in melon mambo, sweet surgarplum and daffodil delight, before brushing clear wink of stella over them to make them glisten. After fussy cutting them out, I popped them up on dimensionals for a bit of depth and adhered them onto the waves.
Next, I versamarked my anchor and heat embossed it using silver embossing powder before cutting it out and adhering it with dimensional edging. Finally I silver embossed the sentiment directly onto my card front, attached my card front to a melon mambo mat for a fun colour pop and then to a whisper white card base, before adding an array of rhinestones to my sea to mimic the bubbles in the water. Love this card, hope you do too xx
