Wedding Card using Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies

I wanted to make a wedding card and thought this was the perfect excuse to use the elegant Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies. I’ve seen lots of examples of wedding cards using these dies along with the matching Floral Boutique DSP in night of navy and whisper white.  But as you know, I am always searching for something a little more unique.  So I decided to incorporate some watercoloring into this card.  Here is the finished result.

I began by watercolouring a piece of shimmery white cardstock using the colours rose red, wisteria wonder, so saffron, pear pizzazz and bermuda bay.

When my background was dry, I ran my piece of watercoloured cardstock through my Big Shot using the die, to achieve two detailed panels as pictured above.  I then adhered them to the top and bottom of my shimmery white card base before heat embossing my sentiment from the Floral Phrases stamp set using versamark and silver embossing powder.

To finish, I placed some rhinestones into the centre of some of the die cut flowers, added a bow tied with silver ribbon, and adhered a metallic enamel heart to the right of my sentiment ❤️❤️❤️
