A very simple but pretty card for you today, using the gorgeous Sunshine Wishes Thinlit Dies.
I used the flower die from this set to cut a flower from some scrap cardstock. I then used this cut out flower as a mask, and held it down on my whisper white card front before taking a sponge dauber and sponging some melon mambo ink around and all over the flower. I moved my flower mask down the page and repeated this sponging technique with soft sky and wisteria wonder until I was left with a pretty ‘spray can’ effect of flowers on my card front.
My sentiment comes from the matching Sunshine Sayings stamp set which I inked in versamark before embossing it using silver embossing powder, and then I flicked some clear wink of stella over my card front for a little shimmer. Next, I ran a silver foil sheet through my Big Shot with my Bold Butterfly framelits dies, and adhered it in between the flowers on a dimensional so it looks as though it is resting on one of the flowers. Finally, I scattered a few rhinestones, and attached my card front to a silver foil mat and then to a wisteria wonder card base. So simple yet pretty, give this masking technique a go yourself xx
