When I heard about the likely colour refresh this year, I must admit I wasn’t overly excited. I have never much liked change and I had grown to love the old colour families. Having only been an Independent Demonstrator for almost 3 years, I had never experienced one of these colour refreshes before! But I must tell you, the new colours are simply stunning! To make life easier, you are able to order the new colour ink pads, stampin’ write markers, and cardstock in individual bundles. At just £13, the cardstock bundle in particular is a great cost effective way of seeing which of the new colours you love the most.
To boot, the ink pad design has also changed. There has been a bit of debate on this, especially since so many customers loved and are familiar with the old style of ink pad. From my perspective, I am so happy with all of the changes. Whilst the old style of ink pad is the same good quality it always was, in my opinion there are two major advantages to the new style ink pads.
Firstly, they are stackable, which means if like me, you have limited space, you can get a lot more ink pads into a much smaller space without the need for a bulky ink pad holder. Secondly, a special defoaming agent has been added to all the new style ink pads and their refills. This has improved the quality of my stamped images hugely!
And this brings me on to my final bit of exciting news…..Stampin’ Up! have just released an exciting new joining promotion. For the month of JULY ONLY, you can claim an entire set of 10 ink pads from any of the five colour collections for free if you join my team as as Independent Demonstrator!
