I’m really enjoying scrapbooking at the moment and I decided to take part in the Scrapbooking Global Challenge from one of my facebook groups. If you are looking for some scrapbooking inspiration, you must check out Scrapbooking Global – Stampin’ Up! on Facebook.
I CASED my page layout from the talented Danielle Bennenk. I didn’t have any textured DSP to hand so I decided to create my own by repeat stamping Gallery Grunge in gray granite and double layering vellum leaves using the leaf punch. In the centre, I used a strip of Share what you Love DSP and handstamped and die cut the flowers from Oh so Eclectic. The flowers were stamped in mint macaron, rich razzleberry and petal pink. Its hard to see from my photo, but some of the flowers are popped up on dimensionals to add even more depth. I sponged so saffron ink onto the left hand side of my page, and used black diamond shaped die cuts from the Eclectic Layers thinlits dies for interest. I absolutely love this sentiment which was stamped from Detailed with Love and die cut from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and it is so appropriate for my mum (pictured here with me).
I just love how this page turned out. Who knew scrapbooking was so much fun, and I love how easy it is to bring in so many different crafting elements. If you want to get creative, give scrapbooking a try xx
