It was my son’s 2nd birthday on Tuesday and for once, I was super organised and made an array of thank you cards in advance!
Our note cards and envelopes are the perfect size for a thank you card, and so much more appealing when you have a batch to make – no cutting or scoring cardstock involved as it’s all done for you, easy peasy which is what I love!
I had no particular design in mind, but I was on a mission to use up some of my DSP and knew I wanted to incorporate that gorgeous ‘thanks’ die from the Well Written dies.
I’ve no idea how that adorable rooster from Wood Words entered into the picture, but I’m pleased with how the card came together in the end!
I had so much fun making them, I got completely carried away and by the end I had myself a rainbow of rooster thank you cards!!!
I used Stampin’ Write Markers to colour my rooster, and here are the colour combinations I used:
BLUE – Balmy Blue, Pacific Point, Coastal Cabana
PURPLE – Highland Heather, Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry
PINK – Flirty Flamingo, Berry Burst, Lovely Lipstick
YELLOW – Pineapple Punch, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight
GREEN – Mint Macaron, Shaded Spruce, Call Me Clover
Love how they turned out so much, I decided to make a box to hold them all in. I mean, wouldn’t this set make a gorgeous handmade gift for someone?
Hope you like the design for these sweet cards. Pop back tomorrow to see the box I created to hold them all in xx
