Joining Stampin’ Up! as an Independent Demonstrator can mean the start of a lot of new and exciting opportunities. I came across Stampin’ Up! quite by chance and once I started purchasing products, I quickly realised I would benefit greatly from the 20% demonstrator discount. Like many other demonstrators, this was the initial reason I became a demonstrator. But in a very short time, my passion for Stampin’ Up! and my business has grown and I even found myself attending Onstage Local at Telford this year, where I met my upline in person along with my lovely team.
As an Independent Demonstrator, you can work and build your business at your own pace, and you can be as involved in the Stampin’ Up! community as you’d like. You can actively demonstrate your crafting skills and host parties and workshops to increase your sales. But if you are looking to join as a hobbyist crafter whilst benefiting from the 20% demonstrator discount that’s fine too. As an Independent Demonstrator, your only obligation is to purchase the £99.00 starter kit which is completely customisable and can include any products you wish, (and is worth £130.00 and includes free shipping!), and to meet sales targets of £270.00 per quarter which is actually only £225.00 per quarter after your 20% demonstrator discount is taken into account! These sales figures can be made up from customer orders and/or from your own purchases. If you do not meet the sales targets within the quarter, you have one more month to meet the targets. If you still do not meet these targets, there are no obligations or further monies to pay. You simply go into an ‘inactive’ demonstrator state. If this happens, you can reinstate your demonstrator ship at any time by purchasing the customisable £99.00 starter kit again and your discount would then also be reinstated.
There are lots of Stampin’ Up! hobbyist demonstrators but there are also demonstrators who are making the most of the opportunity they have been given in Stampin’ Up! and building their businesses and customer base. Whether your intent is to be a hobbyist demonstrator or your looking to make a career from Stampin’ Up!, I would love for you to join my team. I will offer as much guidance and support as you’d like, there is no pressure. The most important thing is that you enjoy what you do and hopefully make some good friends along the way. And it doesn’t matter where you are located – you can become a demonstrator and join my team if you are located anywhere in the UK, France, Germany, Austria or The Netherlands.
