Every Occasion

I created this card for friends of ours who recently had a beautiful baby boy, using the Every Occasion stamp set.

This stamp set is so versatile, with a stamp for almost any occasion! The challenging part is designing a card or project to fill a card front using a mini image like the ones is this set. But that’s all part of the fun!

I decided to keep the design fresh and simple with a pool party and whisper white colour way.

I ran my card front through my Big Shot with the lucky stars embossing folder to create the starry background.

I stamped the adorable onesie image three times using pool party ink, and punched them out using the 1″ circle punch, before popping them up on dimensionals on top of some pool party ribbon.

The sentiment comes from the gorgeous Baby Bear stamp set and I cut the banner using the Banners Framelits Dies.  I embellished the card with some metallic enamel stars to echo the background stars.  Welcome to the world baby George Samuel ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜

Botanical Blooms, Builders & Banners

The Botanical Builder framelits are my favourite dies and you can use them to create the most stunning layered flowers. ย But I’ve only recently started using the matching Botanical Bloom stamp set. ย This set is equally as pretty, and I decided to use it to create a DSP background look for this card.

I wanted my card to be bright and colourful, so I inked my stamps in rich razzleberry, melon mambo, elegant eggplant, pumpkin pie, pacific point and daffodil delight with pear pizzazz and emerald envy leaves. ย I stamped off each time to achieve a paler shade and then stamped the details of each flower and leaf in full strength colour for contrast. ย My greeting banner was die cut using the Banners Framelits Dies and the sentiment stamped from the brilliant Balloon Builders stamp set and heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

To embellish my card, I created my flower from rich razzleberry and melon mambo Cardstock using the Botanical Builder Framelit dies, and added a simple pearl to the centre before attaching my card front to a rich razzleberry mat and whisper white card base.

Beautiful Banners

It’s hard to choose from all the gorgeous stamp sets available in the new Stampin’ Up catty, but I think this might just be my favourite! The Beautiful Banners stamp set is so elegant and versatile and matches perfectly with the Banner’s Framelits Dies, this is definitely my must have set!

A very simple card to make – I started by stamping my Paisley banner onto whisper white cardstock before cutting it, and the larger crumb cake banner out with the matching dies.

I stamped my beautiful sentiment, cut it out and mounted it onto my banner with dimensionals, to make it pop.  I stamped my Petite Petals out using versamark ink and then silver heat embossed them on mint macaron, island indigo, melon mambo, rich razzleberry and wisteria wonder cardstock, before punching them out with the Petite Petals punch.  I ran my card front through the Big Shot using the Elegant Dots Embossing Folder and attached my Bulap Ribbon & Basic Black baker’s twine to the centre of it.  Finally, I attached my mounted banner to my card front with dimensionals, assembled my flowers on top and matted my card front to crumb cake on a basic black base.  Love how pretty this card turned out, hope you agree ๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’ž
