Beautiful Blizzard Treat Pouches Made Using the Envelope Punch Board

I spotted these gorgeous little chocolate snowflakes in the supermarket and thought they would make such sweet Christmas treats.

The envelope punch board is the perfect tool for making these treat pouches to hold them. You could make these pouches with DSP, but I decided to make my own DSP using the Beautiful Blizzard Bundle to continue the snowflake theme. Once my cardstock was stamped, I sponged a little of the frosted shimmer paint over the larger background colour wash areas and embellished with some frosted epoxy droplets and some white ribbon which I coloured with Stampin’ blends.  The colour combinations I used on each pouch (starting at the top left hand side and working round in a clockwise direction) were: pool party & balmy blue, mint macaron & night of navy, gorgeous grape & blackberry bliss, merry merlot & blackberry bliss.

You could put a little 3″ x 4″ card in the pouch and gift them with the chocolate inside at Christmas time. Or you could even punch a hole in the top, pull the ribbon through and attach to some Christmas packages as a chocolate treat and Christmas tag in one! Love that idea! Here’s the video to show how I made them.
