I am trying to be organized this year with Christmas presents and making all my own gift packaging, and wanted to make some Christmas treat bags for under the tree.
These bags are tall and sized to hold a 125g Lindt chocolate Father Christmas, but they are large enough to hold an abundance of most types of Christmas confectionary or maybe bottled gifts.
I wanted a change from Christmas DSP and it occurred to me that the Broadway Bound DSP could easily double up as Christmas Paper with all those beautiful Metallics.
Love these bags as an alternative, more contemporary take on a Father Christmas style bag.

I posted a variation of this card a while back using the main colours from the Joyous Noel Suite (https://stampingwithlove.net/2018/08/31/joyous-noel-detailed-deer-sneak-peek). Today I’m posting the same card in a very different colourway – gray granite and soft suede.
I would never have thought to put these colours together had I not been taking them from the stunning Joyous Noel DSP, but I absolutely love the colour combination on this card. So sophisticated and Christmassy in its own right, and no red or green in sight!
I coloured a few rhinestones in soft suede with my Stampin’ Blends. This DSP is so elegant and rich, and the copper foiling adds glamour without overpowering everything else. You really need to see it with your own eyes to appreciate it -love, love, love.
So it’s here and it’s live!!!! The stunning new Autumn/Winter catalogue has finally arrived and you won’t be disappointed. There’s just about something for everyone in this catalogue, and today I am combining two of my favourite things – the Frosted Floral speciality DSP and the Detailed Deer thinlits dies.
I kept these cards really simple as the DSP is pearlised and shimmery and when I added anything more to the card front it just seemed to detract from that.
I adore the beauty and simplicity of these cards, and I love finding another reason to use this stunning DSP xx
