Geared Up Garage Father’s Day Cards

It’s Father’s Day here in the UK tomorrow, and I decided to use Geared Up Garage for my cards. It’s a great set, but for me, the dies are the star of the show. Who knew engine parts could be so stunning?!

You can get as creative as you like with these dies, but for these cards I kept things simple and let the dies and the champagne foil do all the work. I went with a mango melody and blueberry bushel colourway, and I love the masculine vibe in a more playful colour palette.

Hope the men in my family love their cards and enjoy our celebratory family brunch tomorrow, and wishing all dads out there a very Happy Father’s Day!! xx

Grayson’s Geared Up Garage 2nd Birthday Scrapbook Page

My beautiful boy turns 2 today and I can hardly believe it. Just where has the time gone?! He is such a ball of energy and fun, it’s hard to remember what life was like before he arrived.

I wanted to create a scrapbook page to mark this birthday. Once I had decided on the photograph (which I cut out using a stitched rectangle die), I decided to frame the photo in words using various die sets and a mixture of fonts.

I used the Geared up Garage Bundle to add some color to the page. I must admit, I bought that set mainly for that gorgeous engine cog die, but I absolutely love all the dies and that stunning oil spill stamp too!!

I wanted the words to really pop against the white cardstock, so I used black foil. I am so happy that that stunning foil will be in the next catalogue!!! So lovely to work with.

Happy 2nd Birthday pumpkin 😘 xxx
