Healing Hugs is such a versatile stamp set and I love this classic blackberry bliss and gray granite colour combination.
The copper accents work so well with the rich colour of the flowers. I’m so happy that those gorgeous leaves trinkets and the Nature’s Twine have carried over to the new Annual catalogue.
Such a simple but elegant design that came together quickly – Stampin’ Up! coordination at its finest xx
Healing Hugs is a such a beautiful Distinktive stamp set. I love so many things about it, from the gorgeous fonts to the detailed images. The leaves in particular are stunning. But I have struggled to achieve a contemporary look when using the rose stamp.
I challenged myself to create a set of cards using this stamp set that was both pretty and contemporary,
I’m usually a fan of bold colours as you know, but for this challenge I decided to pare things back, and I chose an alternative rainbow palette using Poppy Parade, So Saffron, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, Lemon Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana & Highland Heather. I also stamped my rose image off once to achieve a softer hue.
I added black leaves for a less traditional take, and a black mat layer to make the coloured roses stand out even more.
My sentiment comes from Floral Frames and I will be so sad to see this stamp set go next month. ‘Sending Love’ is such an easy sentiment to use, and I love the cool font used in this set.
These cards have made me fall in love with this stamp set again and I’m excited to see what else I can challenge myself to create with it next! xx
Healing Hugs is such a beautiful and classic stamp set. The single rose image is so striking all by itself, little else is needed. But for this card I decided to pair it with the gorgeous Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder.
The poppy parade and gray granite colourway makes for a cheery get well soon card. Love how simple and elegant this card turned out to be xx
I love so many of the new products in the Annual Catalogue, it’s hard to pick a favourite, but Gallery Grunge and the Stitched All Around Bundle are Up there! You can make beautiful cards so quickly just using these sets, and I love how easy it is to create your own homemade DSP with Gallery Grunge as I have done here.
Grey is my favourite neutral colour and I’m a big fan of the new gray granite colour. It’s much warmer than smoky slate or basic grey, with almost a taupey undertone – it’s great having another option!
Love how this card turned out and it was so quick and easy to put together.
