This was my first attempt at the emboss resist technique and whilst not perfect, I was pleased with the way it turned out. I started by layering a piece of crumb cake cardstock over whisper white for my card base. Then I took my top layer of whisper white cardstock and brushed my embossing buddy over the top of it.  An embossing buddy is essential as it acts as an anti static and helps to prevent loose bits of embossing powder getting stuck on the wrong parts of the card.  I then versamarked my various ‘vintage leaves’ stamps and randomly stamped them onto the card front.  Then I covered the card with white embossing powder, removed the excess powder and heat embossed my leafy images. Once my leaves were set, I randomly sponged wisteria wonder, cucumber crush and island indigo over the top of my embossed leaves, blending the colours together until all the white space beneath was coloured in.  Finally, I took a cloth and wiped over the embossed leaves to reveal a bright white image beneath! This was the finished result:

The blended colours kind of remind me of the northern lights which I love, especially in contrast to the bright white leaves. To finish, I stamped my sentiment from ‘tag talk’ in coordinating colours and finished my card off with white organza ribbon and a few scattered rhinestones.
