I started by inking my Watercolor Wash background stamp with soft sky and stamping off at an angle at the bottom of my card. Next I dipped my clear wink of stella glitter brush in marina mist ink, and flicked it over the background for a bit of interest.
I found that the most efficient way of using this punch is by punching straight into some scrap Cardstock to create a kind of blossom template. I then used this template to align my stamps and mount them to an acrylic block in the same formation for efficient stamping and punching.
I wanted to make my flower pop, so I stamped my blossoms in memento black ink and coloured them in by stamping in watermelon wonder. My leaves and stem were stamped in mint macaron with some cucumber crush for definition. I assembled my flower and adhered key petals with dimensionals to create some depth, before silver embossing my sentiment. Finally I brushed over the petals with clear wink of stella for a shimmery effect and finished off with some pearls. Love the clean simplicity of this card and the bold watermelon wonder against the soft background colour xx
