This is the second card I made using the Frosted Medallions & Wonderful Year stamp set together.
This time I opted for a Night of Navy, Mint Macaron & Crumb Cake colour way and I just loved how this card turned out.
Once my frosted medallions were stamped, I wrapped a piece of silver glitter ribbon around my card front. I white heat embossed my sentiment from Wonderful Year onto a piece of vellum cardstock and trimmed it into a rectangular shape using my Stampin’ Trimmer. I didn’t measure anything but just trimmed around the sentiment.
As in my previous card, I adhered the vellum to a piece of crumb cake backing and popped my label up on dimensionals after placing a mini silver metallic foil doily behind the label in the top left hand corner.
To finish, I attached my card front to a night of navy mat and finally to a mint macaron card base before embellishing with some pearls in each corner of my sentiment.
I loved both of these stamp sets when I spotted them in the Autumn Winter catalogue so I was delighted to see how well they worked together! This is the first of two cards I made using Frosted Medallions together with Wonderful Year.
I stamped my large medallion image in sweet sugarplum, pool party and elegant eggplant and silver heat embossed a couple of smaller medallions for a metallic accent. I then wrapped a piece of sweet sugarplum glitter ribbon around the card front.
To create the central label, I heat embossed the sentiment from Wonderful Year using white embossing powder on vellum cardstock. Using the Lots of Labels Framelits Dies, I cut the sentiment out and also a backing piece of crumb cake cardstock before adhering them together and popping the label up on dimensionals.
To finish, I placed my card front on a crumb cake mat and adhered this to a whisper white card base, and placed some rhinestones on the label. Love this as a contemporary Christmas card.
