I’d been wanting to try out my balloon celebration stamp set and the matching balloon bouquet punch for a while. The good news is they will be carrying over to the new Stampin’ Up! catalogue in June – YAY!! The sad news is the very beautiful Birthday Bouquet DSP will be retiring. This paper is so gorgeous! So I decided to combine the two. This was the result.
My card base was whisper white layered beneath pool party. This gorgeous balloon DSP was a combination of pool party and mint macaron. So I punched my balloons out of dazzling diamonds glimmer paper with the balloon bouquet punch and sponged the edges of a few balloons in mint macaron and the rest in pool party. My balloon strings were stamped in memento black ink and then it was simply a matter of assembling! I decided to lay the big balloons flat and elevate the remaining smaller balloons to create some dimension. Finally I embellished the card with some pool party glitter ribbon (also retiring 😥) and two gorgeous metal rimmed pearls. The sentiment was stamped from ‘Teeny Tiny Sentiments’ and I sponged the edges in pool party once more. So simple but pretty!
